Lily Allen has added five new dates to her forthcoming U.K. tour due to public demand.
The new dates include a third night at London’s 5,000-capacity O2 Academy Brixton on Dec. 15, as well as shows at Liverpool Echo Arena (Dec. 9), Nottingham Arena (Dec. 10), Cardiff Arena (Dec. 11) and Brighton Centre (Dec. 13).
The tour is co-promoted by SJM and Metropolis, with SJM promoting the Brixton shows; the tour was booked by EC1.
Allen’s sophomore album “It’s Not Me, It’s You” (Regal/Parlophone/EMI) debuted at No.1 on the Official U.K. Charts Co. rundown following its release in February this year and has since gone platinum (300,000 copies) in her home country.
The singer has recently completed a sell-out tour of America with a short tour of Japan followed by a five-date trek around Australia, scheduled to begin June 5.
