Lil Wayne gave us all a big treat last Friday when he dropped Funeral, his long overdue album project.
On Wednesday (Feb. 5) night, he dropped by The Tonight Show to perform a new track from it, “Dreams,” with some help from Questlove, The Roots and a trio of backing singers
Looking fit and slick in a fake-fur coat and dark shades, Wayne had more bounce in his step than a kitten at dinnertime.
The hip-hop star’s on track for his fifth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with Funeral. According to industry forecasters, the LP could bow at the top of the the chart with over 115,000 equivalent album units in its first week.
