Sony BMG artist Lil Goonie’s recently released single “Girlz Gone Wild “is the theme of a new advertising campaign for the “Girls Gone Wild” DVD series.
An accompanying video for the song, which can be seen here, showcases Lil Goonie performing at multiple Girls Gone Wild events, complete with partially nude performers.
The TV campaign is for the latest video and tour from Mantra Films, which makes the series, dubbed “Hollywood Gone Wild.” It will be seen on stations such as SpikeTV, Comedy Central, MTV, and Fuse.
“This is an amazing marriage, pairing the strong Girls Gone Wild brand with Lil Goonie and his anthem “Girlz Gone Wild,” said Battery svp and gm Neil Levine, in a statement. “It should instantly give us the right visuals in the marketplace along with some great marketing opportunities.”
Lil Goonie’s as yet untitled album is set to be released in 2009 on
Battery/Bystorm/Jive.
