Lightyear Entertainment has inked a deal to distribute a Nu Vibe/Original Man Entertainment album by Tony Lucca. The set, “Shotgun,” is due March 30. Singer/songwriter Lucca has spent the last several years on the road, opening for artists that include ‘N Sync and Marc Anthony.
Nu Vibe/Original Man CEO Dale Godboldo says the label will initially focus on radio and online viral marketing to promote and market the set. In February, Lucca will embark on a national tour with ‘N Sync’s JC Chasez, who executive-produced “Shotgun.”
Like Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears, Lucca entered the entertainment industry by way of “The Mickey Mouse Club.”
