Following his successful return to the live circuit in 2008, Leonard Cohen has confirmed a U.K. outdoor show at Mercedes-Benz World in Surrey on July 11.
The Marshall Arts-promoted show in Weybridge, outside London, has a 15,000-capacity. Seated tickets priced £55 ($82.25) and £65 ($97.20) go on sale on April 17.
Mercendes-Benz World first staged summer concerts last year, featuring shows from Elton John, Sugababes and McFly.
Cohen, who is currently touring the U.S., will also play Liverpool Echo Arena on July 14.
Leonard Cohen’s “Live In London” (Columbia) album, taken from an O2 arena show on last year’s acclaimed tour, charted at No. 19 on April 5 in the U.K. on first-week sales of 9,000, according to the Official Charts Co. It is currently at No. 49.
