Lenno is just 21, but he has been remixing and producing since the age of 15. You can find his fingerprints on remixes of Above & Beyond’s “On My Way To Heaven” and Chromeo’s “Jealous;” he has credits on records from Fifth Harmony and Tritonal.
Today Lenno shared a solo project, the All Eyes On Us EP. The release contains two new songs with contributions from Jack Novak, Racella, and Scavenger Hunt, along with two remixes courtesy of Solidisco and Wekeed.

In an email, Lenno describes the sound of the EP as “all about the summer.” “Most of it was written in L.A., and I think you can hear that very well,” he adds. “Working on it through the winter made the Finnish darkness a lot more bearable.”
“The process of making the EP was a very cool combination of the modern and the traditional,” Lenno continues. “‘All Eyes On Us’ was a demo Jack had had for a couple of years when she sent it to me. It was basically this very authentic, ‘70s sounding disco record she’d done with her friends. I then took the parts she sent to me and sampled them for a more modern track, which ended up becoming the actual song. So the most retro sounding song I’ve ever done couldn’t have happened without the internet!”
