One of Korea’s top actors and producers, Lee Joon Gi, has collaborated with American fashion label Represent to release his own line of merchandise.
The special collection, which launched on Represent’s official website at the top of the year, is available for a limited time only. The proceeds from his merchandise will be donated to a charity of Lee’s choice.
Lee shared via a press release that he was heavily invested in the design and naming the official logo for his collection: “Just Go Love.” He explains of his new endeavor, “If we come together and lift each other up, we can make the world a better place. Just Go Love.”
Fans know Lee Joon Gi from his 2005 rise to fame in the Korean film The King and the Clown, where he played historical figure Gong-gil, and received widespread recognition at awards shows, including the best actor award at the Max Movie Awards. Since then, Lee has gained a legion of worldwide fans over the years thanks to multiple buzz-worthy projects.
This is not be the first time Represent has worked with a Korean celebrity. The brand has worked with K-pop artists such as Kevin Woo from U-Kiss, and both BamBam and Mark Tuan from GOT7. Most recently, the clothing collaboration with Mark had sold over 35,000 units in two weeks with proceeds going to Save the Children. However, this will be the very first Asian actor Represent has collaborated with, making it another landmark moment as the world continues to see the trending success for Korean-pop culture in the entertainment industry.
