Led Zeppelin freaks will have a bounty of goodies on their hands when the band re-releases classic albums Led Zeppelin IV and Houses of the Holy on Oct. 28.
But ahead of that release date, fans can get a taste of the rarities that will accompany each album — for instance, here’s an unreleased, alternative take of Led Zeppelin IV opener “Black Dog.”
This freshly unearthed take is rougher than the cut that eventually made the album, which you can hear in the guitar work and in Robert Plant’s vocals.
