Thanks to ESPN’s Rachel Nichols, we now know that Dwyane Wade says fellow Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James is the cheapest guy in the NBA. In response to his teammate’s lighthearted accusation, James was forced to acknowledge, “That is so, so, so, so false…ly true.”
The digitally ascetic millionaire refuses to turn on roaming or buy apps. “I’ve still got Pandora with commercials,” he admitted. “So I’ll be listening to some great music at home and then a commercial [will go], ‘Hey! You wanna win three tickets, then come to … meet LeBron, Wade and Kevin Love right now!”
Nichols then followed up by asking, “You know you’re rich right?” But James stood his ground: “I’m not paying for it.”
