Christmas is still a few days away, but today on Billboard, we’re excited to share an early stream of LeAnn Rimes‘ new holiday album, Today Is Christmas.
“There is something special about the spirit of the holidays, people are inclined to be more gracious and giving,” the Grammy winner says of the season. “Emotions also tend to be elevated during the holidays — whether we miss a family member no longer with us or we feel five years old again opening a gift on Christmas morning. Joy, longing, happiness, surprise; I want that full gambit of emotions to radiate from my music.”

Featuring two original songs co-written by Rimes and various holiday classics, Today Is Christmas officially drops Oct. 16 — but you can listen to it exclusively below.

In addition to DeGraw and Blacc, the album boasts an impressive roster of musicians, including Booker T.
