– Los Fabulosos Cadillacs have canceled their headlining performance at Central Park’s SummerStage July 11, to be replaced by Calle 13. According to a statement from Cadillacs management, the cancellation came as a result of having to reschedule the group’s dates around Vive Latino, the Mexico City rock festival that was postponed to June 27-28 because of the swine flu in May. The band is expected back in New York in September as part of another leg of U.S. dates. The Central Park SummerStage performance caps off the 10th annual Latin Alternative Music Conference. – For the first time, Los Premios MTV Latin America will be broadcast live from multiple cities. Bogota and Los Angeles are the first cities to be announced as hosts for the annual awards show, which will air live on MTV Latin America and MTV Tr3s in the U.S. on Oct. 15 this year. More host cities are expected to be announced shortly.
