Tax Day is never a laughing matter. Though James Corden can turn it into a giggle. The British talk show host teamed with singer and actress Katharine McPhee for a medley of “Tax Day Carols” on his Late Late Show. Forget Christmas in July, this was like Christmas on April 15 with lyrics to “warm an accountant’s heart.” Here’s one example: “My grandpa left to me one crummy lump sum,” crooned Corden. Watch the clip below.
The song appears on their collaborative effort Sing Into My Mouth, an album comprised entirely of covers and featuring takes on the Talking Heads, Bonnie Raitt, Sade, Pete Seeger and others. Sing Into My Mouth is due this summer. Watch the Letterman clip below.
Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors were the musical guests on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where the Nashville-based outfit performed two songs from their latest studio album, Medicine.
The late night audience got a serve of “Here We Go” and “Shine Like Lightning”. Medicine was released back in January on Holcomb’s own Magnolia Music Group. Watch both videos below.
