In an immensely anticipated appearance, BTS set the stage ablaze on The Late Late Show With James Corden on Tuesday night (June 12). The South Korean pop marvels performed their lovelorn bop “Fake Love,” which just cracked the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.
To no surprise, the seven-piece boy band came prepared with a plethora of intriguing choreography while rocking coordinated silky shirts, skinny jeans and sleek black boots. Even in the midst of their often-robotic dance moves, BTS delivered the bilingual lyrics with plenty of passion. As they ended the song in a dramatic group embrace, host James Corden couldn’t resist dashing on stage to join them, proving that his love for the group isn’t fake in any language.
“Fake Love” comes from BTS’ third Korean studio album, Love Yourself ? ‘Tear,’ released May 18. This fall, they will make a long-awaited trek through North America during their Love Yourself World Tour, where they will perform in six cities across 14 dates.
