Kanye West returned to Twitter over the weekend, and amid his tweets about shoe and tattoo designs came a heartfelt message to his former brother-in-law Lamar Odom. Meanwhile, Odom — a retired professional basketball player who played seven years with the Los Angeles Lakers and was previously married to Khloe Kardashian — returned the favor on Monday (April 16).
West’s message on Sunday recalled his Madison Square Garden tour stop in support of Saint Pablo, when he walked into the arena with Odom after his 2015 hospitalization due to a coma.
my favorite moment of walking into MSG to play Saint Pablo, I used to go to the hospital and play Lamar the album when he was learning to walk and talk again Then we walked into the arena together pic.twitter.com/ysC5z5wDUA

Odom thanked West for the kind words, also via Twitter:

Odom was married to Khloe Kardashian — sister of West’s wife Kim Kardashian, of course — from 2009 to 2016. He was hospitalized in 2015 after being found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel.
