Thanks to Lady Gaga’s signature style, she has varying wax figures that can be seen around the world from the U.S. to Germany to China to Thailand and beyond. Last week, a new figure went up at a museum in Lima, Peru, but fans aren’t exactly thrilled with this rendition.
The newest statue depicts the “Million Reasons” singer in one of her most famous costumes — the meat dress look from the 2010 MTV VMAs — but with sharp, defined muscles and a somewhat wacky face, unlike that of Gaga’s in real life.
Twitter was less than impressed with the waxwork, with one user tweeting “How on earth did someone get paid to professionally make a Lady Gaga wax figure that looks like this?” and others insisting she’s totally unrecognizable.
The 31-year-old recently made a surprise performance at a hurricane relief concert in Texas and spoke on the importance of mental health, and has been in recovery from her struggle with fibromyalgia for the past few weeks.
