
Elton John, Lady Gaga and Vampire Weekend are among the music nominees for awards presented by the gay advocacy group GLAAD. The outstanding music artist category also includes Goldfrapp and Tegan and Sara.

30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto’s film, “Dallas Buyers Club,” was nominated for outstanding film.
The GLAAD Media Awards will be presented April 12 a the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, and in New York City on May 3 at the Waldorf Astoria.
