Lady Gaga will make her third appearance on “Saturday Night Live” next month… but this time, she won’t just be the musical guest.
The “Applause” singer will pull double-duty as the host and performer of the Nov. 16 episode, following in the footsteps of ambidextrous “SNL” hosts Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber and most recently Miley Cyrus. The appearance will come less than a week after her hotly anticipated “ARTPOP” album hits retailers on Nov. 11.
“SNL” also announced that indie-rock sister trio HAIM will be performing on the Nov. 23 episode, when “Hunger Games” star Josh Hutcherson makes his hosting debut. This week’s episode (Nov. 2) will feature host Kerry Washington and musical guest Eminem.
On this week’s Hot 100, Gaga’s new single “Do What U Want,” featuring R. Kelly, makes its debut at No. 13. Could Kellz join the pop superstar for a special “SNL” duet? Consider our fingers crossed for the next 16 days.
