Before Lady Gaga began filming her HBO concert special at New York’s Madison Square Garden last night (Feb. 21), the pop star took to Twitter to preview the lyrics of “Judas,” the second single from her forthcoming sophomore album, “Born This Way.”
“I’m just a Holy Fool, oh baby he’s so cruel, but I’m still in love with Judas, Baby,” Gaga wrote yesterday. The singer had revealed in the March issue of Vogue that “Judas” would follow the title track as the album’s next single, saying of the song, “It’s more electronic, but I have married a very theatrical vocal to it. It’s like a giant musical-opus theater piece.”

Lady Gaga also performed her latest single — which became the 1000th No. 1 on the Hot 100 last week — as the finale of her Monster Ball tour stop in New York last night, which brought out celebrities like Paul McCartney and Green Day‘s Billie Joe Armstrong to Madison Square Garden. The singer will once again play the venue tonight as the second and final part of her concert special, “Lady Gaga Pesents the Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square Garden,” which will premiere on HBO on May 7.
