Lady Gaga was one of the countless people forced to evacuate their homes on Friday (Nov. 9) due to the wildfires blazing across Ventura County. She took to Instagram story to update fans on her safety.
The first clip shows the singer and her team packing up the cars to leave, and the following two include the dark, billowing smoke in the sky. “Sending my prayers to everyone today,” she wrote.
Later, on Twitter, she updated her fans while sending a message of thanks to those fighting the blaze. “I am thinking so deeply for everyone who is suffering today from these abominable fires & grieving the loss of their homes or loved ones,” she writes via Twitter. “I’m sitting here with many of you wondering if my home will burst into flames.”
I am thinking so deeply for everyone who is suffering today from these abominable fires & grieving the loss of their homes or loved ones. I’m sitting here with many of you wondering if my home will burst into flames. All we can do is pray together & for each other. God Bless You.
