There are two more little ladies in the Lady Antebellum house after Hillary Scott gave birth to twins.
The country star shared the good news with an Instagram post. “Our family is thankful and proud to announce the arrival of our precious baby girls,” she wrote. “They were born in the early hours of January 29th, 2018 and we can’t wait to share more about them in the days to come. Thank you to everyone who prayed and prayed for these little ladies, and thank you Lord for healthy babies.” Scott completed her message with the hashtag “twins.”
The new arrivals mean Hillary and her husband Chris Tyrell are the proud parents of three girls, having welcomed Eisele Kaye in 2013.
Scott’s pregnancy meant she had to miss Sunday’s Grammys, though her bandmates Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood made sure she was included by carrying a cardboard cutout of her face to the gala. The trio was nominated for two awards, best country album and best country duo/group performance. Kelley and Haywood came away empty-handed, though Scott clearly collected two special prizes of her own.
