Kurt Cobain might just appreciate this latest addition to his legend.
The iconic Nirvana frontman, who died from an alleged suicide in April 1994, is the subject of the latest comic book from Bluewater Productions, who has previously featured the life stories of rock stars John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Keith Richards in its popular Tribute series.

The latest will be published April 2 on the anniversary of Cobain’s passing. The comic book will be available in both print and digital form.
Written and drawn by Jayfri Hashim, the story of Kurt Cobain is retold, from his early days to his battle with overwhelming fame and the pain he suffered mentally and emotionally.
“The Tribute line of comic books tells the stories of people that have made a significant difference in the world while they were with us,” says Bluewater publisher Darren G. Davis. “It is a way for us to honor these people who have made a difference in the world.
“Not only is this a great way to understand the importance of his contribution to music, but it is a great tool for kids to read about him in a different medium. Our biography comic books are now taught in schools and libraries for students and reluctant readers.”
