Kristin Chenoweth is expanding her representation at ICM Partners. The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned that the agency, which has represented her in concerts since last November, has now signed her in talent as well. She was previously repped for acting by CAA, and WME remains her commercial agency.
ICM will now handle most aspects of Chenoweth’s diverse career, including theater, film, television, publications and live appearances. On Tuesday morning, the American Theatre Wing announced that she would co-host the 2015 Tony Awards with Alan Cumming on June 7.
Chenoweth will be pulling double duty that night, as she also is nominated for lead musical actress for her performance in the On the Twentieth Century revival. She is a past Tony winner, for 1999’s You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and also was nominated in 2004 for Wicked.
In January, Chenoweth co-starred opposite Jennifer Lopez in the Universal thriller The Boy Next Door, and this summer she’ll be seen as Maleficent in the Disney Channel original movie Descendants.
