On Wednesday (March 18), the Chicago native released “Visionary,” his first solo production as Rain Man, featuring vocals from Grammy Award-winning rapper Sirah. Stuffing dancehall, dubstep and drum ‘n bass elements into three-and-a-half minutes, the action-packed track centers on a punishing broken-beat bass drop that snarls through a storm of blooping electro synths.
While Trindl hasn’t publically linked the song to his controversial departure, it contains suggestive lyrics like “I’m a f—ing visionary, but they brush me off” and “I ain’t got time to waste with facades.”

Sirah, who has previously featured on Skrillex‘s “WEEKENDS!!!,” “Kyoto” and “Bangarang,” describes the track’s lyrics as “super dark.”
“Basically I’m talking about the decision every artist needs to make, where you either stay true to what you believe in or you bend your art to fit in a lane,” she says. “I make my own lane.”
