Independent London-based publisher Kobalt Music Group has struck an exclusive, worldwide administration deal for Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald’s works.
The pact, unveiled Wednesday (Aug. 24), covers administration of recent hits co-written and produced by “Dr. Luke” including Kelly Clarkson’s hits “Since You’ve Been Gone” and “Behind These Hazel Eyes,” and songs from the Backstreet Boys’ “Never Gone” album. Gottwald is currently completing three songs for the new Pink record.
“Dr. Luke is one of the most sought after writers in the business today and we’re extremely pleased to have signed him to Kobalt. We are looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship,” comments Kobalt founder and CEO Willard Ahdritz.
Kobalt’s clients include Gwen Stefani, Nine Inch Nails and Sanctuary Music Publishing.
