Fans were thrilled when Kings of Leon released Walls in October 2016, their first album in three years. The energy continued to pour from the audience as they cheered in front of the Honda Stage on Monday (Jan. 30), where the band performed a mix of fan favorites and new tunes (see setlist below).
The hour-long gig at the iHeartRadio Theater LA in Burbank, Calif. was filmed for a television show that is set to air on Feb. 17 from Direct TV/AT&T’s U-Verse channel, Audience Network.

Kings of Leon showcased an uncompromising talent that justifies its 15-plus years of music success, winding-up the crowd with head-banging instrumentals and throwing dozens of picks into the sea of screaming fans.
A highlight of the show was certainly the closer, 2008 hit “Sex on Fire,” when singer Caleb Followill took a step back from the microphone on the last chorus to clap along as the audience sang every word. The song ended with a standing ovation from the seated guests along the balcony.
Don’t mistake these four guys as just some old school act. Walls snagged the band’s first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and “Waste a Moment” is currently tied with Coldplay’s “Clocks” for the second-longest No. 1 streak on Adult Alternative Songs, only one week away from tying the record set by U2’s “Beautiful Day.”
