Kim Kardashian has been actively involved in the justice system lately, and her latest effort comes in the form of freeing A$AP Rocky, who is being held in a Swedish detention center for suspected “gross assault.”
According to a report by TMZ, Kardashian and Kanye West reached out to Donald Trump’s advisor and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, whom the reality TV star has worked with in the past for other incarceration cases.
Kim took to Twitter to thank the President, Kushner and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for their help. “Your commitment to justice reform is so appreciated,” she wrote.

Earlier this week, the U.S. Department of State released a statement in support of the rapper, according to Politico. “There are certainly some facts about the arrest and detention that raise concerns. We expect all governments, including Sweden, to treat American citizens fairly and with respect. We hope to see A$AP Rocky and his colleagues back on tour and reunited with friends and family soon.”
