Kim Kardashian joined Simon Huck’s art experiment A. Human by implanting a temporary necklace under her skin.
Opening Sept. 5 as a monthlong interactive art experience in New York City, A. Human is a showcase for body modifications. “We didn’t want to root any of our modifications on the idea of existing insecurities or discomforts,” Huck recently said in an interview with Vogue. “A. Human is about the freedom to explore this world and live in this world in any way you choose.”
Looking like she just arrived from another planet, Kardashian posted a video Monday (Aug. 27) on Twitter exhibiting her new accessory: a temporary, implanted necklace that lights up to the rhythm of her heartbeat.

Installed under a person’s skin, the temporary artworks have been embraced by a series of celebrities, such as transgender supermodel Andreja Pejic, Queer Eye star Tan France and Chrissy Teigen, who recently got feathers sprouting from her chest.?
The exhibition opens next month in Manhattan at 48 Mercer Street and promises to be the newest spot for celebrity-sighting.
