Earlier this fall, Calgary-born singer-songwriter Kiesza (of 2014 viral dance hit “Hideaway” fame) made her triumphant return with “Give It To The Moment,” a club-ready collab with Djemba Djemba.
The duo, partnering with Smirnoff Sound Collective, hoped to bring the track’s message to a global stage, launching the #WhatWeBring movement, created in conjunction with VICE’s in-house agency VIRTUE Worldwide, and inviting producers from around the globe to re-imagine the track through their own unique sound and perspective.

The result hits today with the official remix package, which spans five continents and features artists including Toy Selectah (Mexico), Nozinja (South Africa), Laura Jones (U.K.), Kosmo Kat (Japan), and last — but certainly not least — Cassian, one of Australia’s busiest young exports.
Today, Billboard has the exclusive premiere of Cassian’s re-work of “Give It To The Moment.”
“This was a really interesting project to be a part of,” Cassian tells Billboard. “While international remix packages aren’t a new concept, having remixers from different countries and with very different sounds all told to really express their local sound certainly is. I really enjoyed the process creatively, and tried to inject as much “Sydney” as possible in everything from the first melody to the last two buss compression settings!”
Cassian’s remix is available now on iTunes and Spotify.
