
We’ve already seen Keri Hilson pay tribute to one of her idols — Diana Ross — in the video for “Pretty Girl Rock,” but Hilson decided to take it up a notch in channeling Miss Ross again when she performed the song on last night’s (Jan. 4) “The Late Show with David Letterman.”

Complete with two back-up singers — or shall we say ” Supremes” — standing behind her and dressed a la 1960s Ms. Ross, Hilson recreated early Supremes’ hand gestures while crooning the lead single off her new album, “No Boys Allowed.”

Host David Letterman greeted Hilson, saying “now we’re getting somewhere!” (whatever that means), and welcomed the singer back for a second night.
