Model and reality TV star Kendall Jenner ran into trouble introducing 5 Seconds of Summer at the Billboard Music Awards.
Jenner got off to a good start, beginning her introduction with, “The band about to rock the Billboard Awards comes from Down Under, but the direction they’re heading is straight up. Recently they made their debut at two on the Billboard 200.”
Then Jenner seemed to have a hard time getting One Direction off her mind. She continued, “Now we welcome… One…”
Perhaps it was the reference to “Direction” in the intro, but Jenner couldn’t seem to come up with the name of the Australian pop-rock quartet about to take the stage.

“Guys I’m the worst reader,” she apologized.
A brief recorded intro segment took Jenner out of her embarrassment for a moment, before the spotlight returned to her. This time, she finally got the name right, yelling “5 Seconds of Summer” as the boys jumped into their song.
