Ken Ehrlich, the veteran Grammy Awards producer who began working on the awards telecast nearly 40 years ago, has extended his contract to excutive produce the Grammys through 2020. Ehrlich is currently working on the 59th annual Grammy Awards which will air this Sunday, Feb. 12, at 8 p.m. on CBS and hosted by James Corden,
Ehrlich began his Grammy journey nearly 40 years ago working on 1980’s 22nd Grammy Awards where the term “Grammy Moment” was first coined after Ehrlich paired Barbara Streisand and Neil Diamond together on “You Don’t Bring me Flowers. Since then creative pairings such as Eminem and Elton John; Prince and Beyoncé; and Dave Grohl, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, and Joe Walsh have been one of the hallmarks of the annual awards show.

Ehrlich has also produced a number of Emmy-winning tribute specials presented by The Recording Academy, AEG Ehrlich Ventures, and CBS, including, “Stevie Wonder: Songs In The Key Of Life—An All-Star GRAMMY Salute,” “The Beatles: The Night That Changed America—A Grammy Salute,” and “Sinatra 100—An All-Star Grammy Concert.”
Ehrlich is also producing a tribute to the iconic Bee Gees, “Stayin’ Alive: A Grammy Salute To The Music Of The Bee Gees,” which takes place on Feb. 14, two days after the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.
