Hope everyone is ready to cry a little bit.
Kelly Clarkson just released “Piece by Piece (Idol Version),” a studio version of the arrangement she performed to raves on American Idol last week. Immediately following the performance, the song — originally released last March — shot to No. 1 on iTunes, so it makes sense that Clarkson would hop into the studio to give fans the version they got hooked on hearing while re-watching her emotional performance.

The track will also be added to March 4’s Piece by Piece Deluxe Album, which will contain remixed versions of all the songs from 2015’s Piece By Piece as well as a live recording of “Tightrope.”
