K impressive arrival of charity single “We Are the World 25: For Haiti” by Artists for Haiti to remain at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for a ninth consecutive week.
“TiK ToK” has now persevered over a pair of No. 2-debuting songs during its No. 1 run. Just three weeks ago, Taylor Swift’s “Today Was a Fairytale” opened in the runner-up slot. Meanwhile, Ke$ha’s second single “Blah Blah Blah,” featuring 3OH!3 is the Hot 100’s Digital Gainer (up 35,000 downloads) and jumps 22-11.

“We Are the World 25: For Haiti’s” arrival pushes the Black Eyed Peas‘ “Imma Be” down 2-3, while Young Money’s “BedRock” featuring Lloyd holds solid at No. 4, as does Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” at No. 5.
Despite being the Hot 100’s Airplay Gainer (up 10.2 million impressions), Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now” is pushed down the list (3-6) as digital sales decline (down 26%) following last week’s post-Grammy bump.
The next two tracks in the top 10 maintain last week’s rank, Train’s “Hey, Soul Sister” at No. 7 and “How Low” by Ludacris at No. 8.
With a move from 11-9 for “In My Head,” Jason Derulo has now placed his first two singles into the chart’s top 10. “Whatcha Say,” which spends its 27th week on the chart at No. 32, peaked at No. 1 in November. Derulo is the first Warner Bros. recording artist to takes the first two singles from a debut album into the top 10 since Karyn White did so with “The Way You Love Me” and “Superwoman” in 1989.
Capping the top 10 recap is “Sexy Chick” from David Guetta featuring Akon; the song dips from 6-10.
While Iyaz’s “Replay” falls out of the top 10 (10-14), his second single “Solo” debuts at No. 43. Just below Iyaz’s entry is “American Idol’s” memorable contestant General Larry Platt, who debuts at No. 46 with the viral sensation “Pants on the Ground.”
After a few knockoff versions and unauthorized remixes of “Pants” hit digital sites following Platt’s appearance on the “Idol” last month, the “official” single finally surfaces and shifts 65,000 downloads.
Other notable Hot 100 debuts include Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” at No. 64, Monica’s “Everything To Me” at No. 82 and “Didn’t You Know How Much I Loved You” by Kellie Pickler at No. 99.
Re-entering the Hot 100 is Rascal Flatts’ “Unstoppable” at No. 92. The group reworked the lyrics to the title track of their latest album for a custom Olympics version which has been featured throughout coverage of the Games. Proceeds from download sales, which jumped 477% this week to 15,000 units, help support the U.S. Olympic Team.
