
Katy Perry has been confirmed as a performer at the 2013 MTV European Music Awards, where she’ll unfurl her second “PRISM” single, “Unconditionally.”
Perry, whose new album “PRISM” will hit stores on Oct. 22, has yet to release the power ballad, which has been confirmed as the follow-up to her latest Hot 100 No. 1 hit, “Roar.” The pop star debuted “Roar” live at the MTV Video Music Awards in August, and trotted out album cut “Dark Horse” alongside special guest Juicy J for the first time last month.

Held at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, the MTV EMAs will air in the U.S. on Nov. 10. Will Ferrell — dressed as his “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” character Ron Burgundy — will also be on-hand at the event, with more performers and presenters to be announced soon.
Perry, who performed in 2008, 2009 and 2010 at the EMAs, is nominated for two awards at this year’s ceremony. Justin Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will all nominees with five nods each.
