Katy Perry is teaming up with nail care company OPI for her own nail polish line. The announcement comes very shortly after Justin Bieber announced a polish line of his own with the same company.
The Katy Perry for OPI collection will be available in January 2011 and will feature four different shades: “Teenage Dream” (pink glitter ), “Not Like The Movies” (silver), “Last Friday Night” (shimmering bright blue), and “The One That Got Away” (dark purple).
The set will also feature a top coat entitled “Black Shatter,” which will create the illusion of a cracked/leopard print canvas whenever painted on top of an already dried undercoat.
Perry’s interest in manicures is already well-documented, as the pop star often posts pictures of her new nails on Twitter. The “California Gurls” singer also showed off a customized manicure of her fiancé Russell Brand’s face at this years MTV VMAs.
