April has been a month of several high-profile single releases, with pop stars tossing out a few bids to soundtrack both this month’s showers and May flowers. Three songs — the latest radio offerings from Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran and Lana Del Rey — have us hitting the repeat button; but which track will be dominating your playlist through the dog days of summer?
Vote now in the poll below to tell us whether “Birthday,” “Sing” or “West Coast” is your new spring jam!
After scoring a pair of No. 1 singles from her “PRISM” album with “Roar” and “Dark Horse,” Perry has returned with the upbeat track “Birthday,” which is slowly but surely ascending the Hot 100 chart. With a wacky music video premiering later this week, “Birthday” is primed to join Perry’s many other smashes by invading your radio stations.
Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran has already scored his highest-charting Hot 100 hit to date with “Sing,” which takes a page out of Justin Timberlake’s playbook and receives a decent helping of producer Pharrell Williams’ pixie dust. A complete departure from Sheeran’s tender folk tracks, “Sing” sounds ready for the clubs, and has Sheeran ready for a big 2014.

Finally, Lana Del Rey traveled to the desert to premiere her new single “West Coast,” unveiling the track during a stirring performance at Coachella earlier this month. Produced by Dan Auerbach, “West Coast” sways into view as Del Rey’s most immediate track to date, and has already crashed the Top 20 of the Hot 100 chart.
