The “Dark Horse” singer surpassed 50 million followers on Saturday.
Katy Perry may not have nabbed a Grammy at last month’s ceremony, but her latest accolade is a major milestone.
The “Dark Horse” singer surpassed 50 million followers on Twitter on Feb. 1, making her not only the queen of the social media platform, but also the user with the most followers in the history of Twitter.
Perry nodded to her big 5-0 by calling it just a “regular day at the office” online:
Oh yeah AND we grew to 50 million Katycats! Eh, regular day at the office.

Perry superseded Justin Bieber as the most followed person on Twitter last November, according to E! News, when she reached 46.48 million followers. Nine months prior, Lady Gaga held the Twitter throne for two years.
