With Kathy Griffin officially out as one of the panelists on E!’s Fashion Police, one of her former co-hosts is showing her support for the comedian.
Kelly Osbourne, who departed from the series last month, commented on Griffin’s departure. “I could not be more proud of you @kathygriffin you have my love and support always!” Osbourne tweeted following Griffin’s confirmation.

Griffin shared the news of her exit on Twitter on Mar. 12. “After seven episodes of Fashion Police, I discovered that my style does not fit with the creative direction of the show and now it’s time to move on,” she wrote.
Fellow hosts Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski have yet to comment on her exit. The show’s executive producer, Joan Rivers’ daughter Melissa, will appear on the March 30 episode, the network confirmed.
Griffin’s announcement comes the same week she addressed the controvery surronding Rancic’s comments about Zendaya. In an episode of Fashion Police, which aired after the Oscars, Rancic said actress/singer looked like she smelled of “patchouli or weed” after debuting dreadlocks on the Oscars red carpet. She later apologized.
“Probably not. But I wouldn’t have said the joke in the first place. Some dude wrote it for her,” Griffin told Chicago Sun-Times‘ Splash magazine when asked if she would have made the same comment.
