Congratulations are in order for Katharine McPhee and David Foster! The couple is expecting their first child together, according to People.
In photos shared by the publication, the Smash star flaunted her baby bump while out eating lunch with the music producer in Montecito, California.

The couple first met back in 2006, when Foster mentored McPhee and other contestants on American Idol. They got married in June 2019 at the Church of Saint Yeghiche in the South Kensington district of West London.
The wedding coincided with the anniversary of her first single “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” which Foster produced. “Exactly 13 years ago today my very first single, Somewhere Over The Rainbow, was released right after Idol. Today… I’m marrying the man who produced it. Life is full of beautiful coincidences, isn’t it? Thank you for taking me over the rainbow, David,” McPhee captioned a video of herself singing the song with Foster on the piano.
While this is McPhee’s first child, Foster shares daughters Sara, Erin and Jordan with second wife Rebecca Dyer and daughters Allison and Amy from previous relationships.
