Kanye West’s Sunday Service at Coachella on Easter Sunday (April 21) was complete with gospel singers, thousands upon thousands of attendees and some celebrity sightings, including the Kardashians, Chance the Rapper, Kid Cudi and Donald Glover.
Yeezy performed his service on top of a massive man-made mountain on the festival’s campground, and now we get an inside look on how the hill was built. The rapper’s stage designer, John McGuire, owns the company TrasK House, which was in charge of building the scene. In a time-lapse video posted to the company’s Instagram page, you can see the insane process, which included tractors shoveling the dirt together to create height, followed by covering the completed hill with grass and a stage on top for the musicians.
Once all the grass was laid out and the service began, one fan decided to capitalize on the situation by grabbing a chunk of the land to sell on eBay. In a screenshot posted by DefJam, the starting bid for the grass is $65 dollars.
