It’s been a big week for North’s dad, who not only dropped a new album, Ye, but released one he executive-produced, Pusha T‘s Daytona, and weathered a wealth of drama that involved squashing rap beef that sprung up in the wake of Daytona and its now-infamous diss track, “Infrared.”

West has been spending time in Wyoming, where he threw a listening party for Ye, and his family joined him in the remote locale as well.
Fast-forward to this weekend (June 3): now that the Ye/Daytona hype has eased up a bit and he’s opened up in his first in-depth conversation about it, West’s timeline featured a brief detour into the personal vs. professional when he posted a quick video of North singing “Make no mistake, I still love you” in a silly voice for her pops.
