On the 16th season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, fans are finally keeping up with Kanye West.
The rapper sat down with his wife Kim Kardashian for his first-ever interview on the show. He has appeared in scenes occasionally throughout the series, but has never actually spoken to the camera.
The clip, reposted on Twitter, shows Kim preparing Ye for the interview, and reminding him to look up at the camera. “This is my first time doing this. I’m not actually attempting to do good,” replied with a smile, met with laughs from Kim and the video crew.

“Part of the reason why I even thought about or considered doing this recording, or what do you call it? This interview, is because of the movie The Incredibles,” he continued, to which Kim skeptically asked why.
“It starts off with the interviews!” the rapper responds enthusiastically. “The superheroes are giving interviews. The wife got a big butt and I just see our life becoming more and more and more like The Incredibles until we can finally fly.”
The latest season of KUWTK premiered Sunday night (Mar. 31) on E!. Watch West’s interview below.
