After weeks without an official title, Kanye West‘s fifth effort will be called “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,” the rapper announced on Twitter this morning. The news arrives after West confirmed on Twitter yesterday that the album, originally titled “Good Ass Job,” will be released on Nov. 22.
“The official album title is and always was… MY BEAUTIFUL DARK TWISTED FANTASY,” West wrote, adding that some of his weekly “GOOD Fridays” releases will be included on the follow-up to 2008’s “808s & Heartbreak.” The rapper also said that the “first song on the album is called ‘Dark Fantasy’ produced [by] the RZA co-produced by me and No I.D.”

“All of the Lights” will be the album’s next single, although after his Bon Iver and Gil Scott-Heron collaboration “Lost in the World” leaked online last week, West said that he is not releasing any unfinished samples of the song. “I ain’t letting no leaks have any affect on my song choices… All of the Lights is the next single but wait till yall here the final!!!!!” wrote West.
West wrote that he is currently “in Paris designing the type face for the album packaging.” The rapper released new single “Runaway” yesterday, and has announced plans to screen “Runaway,” his 40-minute film companion to the album, in Paris today. “I’m so excited to show my work in Paris,” West wrote while linking to a small screenshot from the film.
