John Legend will on Dec. 6 release the DVD “Live at the House of Blues,” which captures an August performance at the Los Angeles venue. The DVD will also be available in a bundle with his Columbia debut, “Get Lifted.”
“Live at the House of Blues” sports a number of tracks from that album, including “Ordinary People” and “So High,” plus “Number One” and “I Can Change,” during which Kanye West and Snoop Dogg reprise their guest appearances from the studio versions.
The show is rounded out by such new tracks as “Do It Again,” “Medley” and “Selfish.” Among the special features are the video for “So High” and a making-of segment, an interview with Legend and behind-the-scenes footage.
Legend previously issued an expanded DualDisc edition of “Get Lifted,” featuring the “So High (Cloud 9 Remix)” with Fugees member Lauryn Hill. To date, the album has sold 1.4 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Legend is in the midst of a fall headlining tour that will next visit Trenton, N.J., on Friday (Oct. 21). Dates are on tap through Nov. 29 in Merrilville, Ind.
