Leave it up to Kacey Musgraves to be the voice of reason. In her new video for “Biscuits,” the single from her upcoming Pageant Material album, Musgraves reminds us to “mind your own biscuits and life will be gravy.”
What starts out as a mundane, black-and-white, butter-churning afternoon on the farm turns quickly into a barnyard dance party. “If you don’t got nothing nice to say, don’t say nothin’ at all,” Musgraves sings.
From underneath a red curtain, the country songstress steps forth in all-pink attire surrounded by a colorful backdrop of dancing friends, horses, hay, and, um, a guy dressed like a corn on the cob. But hey, even he looks like he’s having a good time!
