K-pop septet VAV teamed up Tuesday (July 23) with Puerto Rican singer De La Ghetto and Grammy-winning production duo Play-N-Skillz for their new single “Give Me More.”
A rhythmic dance track that blends breezy tropical dance sounds with reggaeton beats, “Give Me More” was released through three different versions, with the primary one performed in Korean with some English and Spanish sprinkled in while the second is entirely performed in Spanish and English; the final variant offers up a special Play-N-Skillz remix. An instrumental version of the song was also released.
“Give Me More” marks the first time VAV has worked with De La Ghetto and Play-N-Skillz, but the latter previously worked with K-pop group Super Junior on last year’s “Lo Siento” with Leslie Grace. It’s VAV’s second single to lean into Latin pop, following last year’s “Senorita.”
The song was released through a colorful music video filmed in Bohol, Philippines, which sees the members of VAV and their collaborators as they sing about their love in paradise, dancing on the beach and partying it up at night.
