It’s been a wonderful year for Korean music and also for Billboard; it was this week one year ago (Aug. 25, 2011) that Billboard launched the K-Pop Hot 100 chart. We’ve watched great No. 1’s rise to the peak from Sistar’s inaugural chart-topper “So Cool” through hits from T-ara, Davichi and many more. To celebrate the occasion, we’ve brought together the brightest stars in K-Pop (including Wonder Girls, T-ara, viral sensation Psy) for a three-part video wishing the K-Pop Hot 100 a happy birthday. Check it out in the player above. But that’s not all. The Billboard chart team has also created a special chart of the top 10 hits of the K-Pop Hot 100’s first year. Enjoy.
