During a performance in Nashville on Friday (Dec. 19th), Justin Timberlake surprised the crowd with a very special guest: Garth Brooks, the man who has sold more albums than any other artist during the Neilsen Soundscan Era (post-1991). Together, the two singers performed one of Brooks’ iconic hits and a modern standard, “Friends In Low Places.” Watch video from the show below.
Timberlake leads the crowd in a loud sing-along before Brooks comes out for the song’s second verse. Both singers Instagrammed evidence of their collaboration.
Brooks released Man Against Machine, his first studio album in more than a decade, on Nov. 11.
