Australians will get another dose of Bieber Fever ahead of Christmas.
Justin Bieber’s global “Believe” tour will swing into Australia and New Zealand later this year for a string of arena dates, promoters Frontier Touring Company today announced.
As the itinerary currently stands, Bieber will play nine shows on his Australasian jaunt beginning Nov. 23 at Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand and concluding Dec. 8 at Perth Arena in Western Australia.
Members of Frontier’s Website can enter a 48-hour pre-sale from 2pm local time on June 25 via www.frontiertouring.com/justinbieber, while the general public on-sale starts 10am local time on July 1.
The Canadian pop star has been a phenomenal draw-card on his previous visits Down Under.
On a promo trip in April 2010, police intervened when huge numbers of teenage girls arrived for a breakfast TV performance. Bieber was meant to play three songs, but cops pulled the plug citing safety concerns. One officer on the scene said at the time that young fans “were being crushed up against the barrier.”
The following year, Bieber got egged during a show at Allphones Arena (formerly Acer Arena), a venue on his itinerary this time.
Bieber’s latest tour has already played 150 shows in North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
