Justin Bieber performed his comeback song “What Do You Mean” as part of an extended set for Aussie breakfast TV on Thursday morning local time.

Bieber was up early for his performance on the free-to-air Seven Network’s Sunrise program, his stage erected on Sydney Harbour’s Cockatoo Island — dubbed “Bieber Island” for the occasion. His set included a cover of the Jack U hit “Where Are Ü Now”, “Boyfriend” and acoustic versions of “All That Matters”, “As Long As You Love Me” and “Baby.” He opened his performance with a rendition of his Def Jam, which can be seen below.
The artist also gave the crowd (which included some 1,200 Beliebers) more than bargained for when he broke out for his “Blue Steel” look. Watch below.
Bieber’s team timed his brief promo trip to perfection. “What Do you Mean” is currently No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart for a fourth week, the year’s equal second-best streak. It’s his first No. 1 in the market.

The Canadian pop singer’s trip has included a stint on 2DayFM’s rooftop in Melbourne and he taped a performance for The X Factor Australia.
His whirlwind visit has been without the controversy of earlier drop-ins. Bieber made headlines when his graffiti work on the Gold Coast’s QT Hotel in late 2013 caught the ire of the local mayor. The singer was in Sydney in June when he joined the Hillsong faithful for its annual five-day gathering.
